When Sun transits into zodiac Aries (Mesham) (my lagna), the Tamil New Year ‘Kara’ commences. The festival is called as Tamil Puthandu or Varushapirapu. The new year will be called as ‘Kara’ (25th year) and the last year was called as ‘Vikhruti’ (24th year). Tamil New year is an important festival celebrated by Tamil Hindus. This festival is mainly observed in Tamil Nadu and all nations with huge Tamil diaspora populations, like Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, United Kingdom and United States.

The solar calendar system follows 60 year cycle and the years are named specifically (not numbers). The new year will be called as ‘Kara’ (25th year) and the last year was called as ‘Vikhruti’ (24th year). The Tamil year has 12 months and they have specific Tamil names like Chithirai, Vaikasi, Aani, Aadi and so on. This sidereal astrology system has 27 constellations duly aligned with the zodiac and there are 108 mansions (padam).

According to the Tamil Panchangam (solar calendar system) the Tamil New Year will begin as per details shown below:

1. Date = April 14, 2011;

2. Time = 11.27 a.m;

3. Day = Guruvara (Thursday);

4. Paksham = Shukla Paksham;

5. Matham (Month) = Chithirai;

6. tithi = Ekadasi (11th Lunar Day);

7. Star (Constellation) = Makam (Magha)

8. Rasi (Moon Sign) = Simha (Leo) sign

9. Lagna (Ascendent) = Mithuna (Gemini) sign

10. Navamsa Lagna = Meenam (Pisces) sign

11. Navamsa Rasi = Mithuna (Gemini)

12. Dasa = Ketu

13. Buddhi = Guru (Jupiter)

14. Andharam = Surya (Sun)

A Story Of Friday ...

Morning friday went to temple as normal ... my 1st temple is Hanuman je temple , i was there at 6.45am after done my prayer go to muniswarer temple (next to hanuman temple), pray and do archanai (fruit archanai) to Nagavalli sami , left that temple at 7.30 on the way to office i stop at Shivan temple same area, behind shivan temple have two hanuman je... assistance

kekekek what i mean here is cute monkey normally I will give the archanai fruit to that monkey,

this time i give them two .... the archanai has two banana fruit one ripe and one more belum masak .... after i give to the monkey je he take both .... smell the fruit before had ,,,,,, he throw away the belum masak banana and he had the ripe want ... wondering from the smell it self he no that fruit dah masak ke belum .... so exciting to see this scene .... i wish to have nose like that ... in order went to the restoran i know the taste kekekek ..

I have no time to update my blog very busy with office work.... but i always believe in the word "have something better then nothing"....

Give Your 100%

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy had a collection of marbles. The girl had some sweets with her. The boy told the girl that he will give her all his marbles in exchange for her sweets. The girl agreed.

The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.

That night, the girl slept peacefully. But the boy couldn't sleep as he kept wondering if the girl had hidden some sweets from him the way he had hidden his best marble.

Moral of the story: If you don't give your hundred percent in a relationship, you'll always keep doubting if the other person has given his/her hundred percent.. This is applicable for any relationship like love, friendship, employer-employee relationship etc., Give your hundred percent to everything you do and sleep peacefully .
